We took a small group of UF veterans to Spurrier's and again, Spurrier's did not disappoint. This dinner outing is always a group favorite. This is our 4th year taking our veterans program to Spurrier's. The event was easy to set up online. Communication was amazing and the event was perfect. The group was even able to snag a picture with the Head Ball Coach himself! Go Gators

Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille is an excellent place! The masala chicken was absolutely amazing, and the bread pudding is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Make sure to grab the classic cookies to go—they’re a must!
Service was outstanding—Darius, our waiter, was on point the entire time and super friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the football Hall of Fame feature adds a really cool touch. Highly recommend 👊💯

We came here to celebrate and had a wonderful experience. We tried the “short rib and wild mushroom risotto” and the “shrimp and grits”. Both were exceptional. For dessert, we had the “vanilla bean crème brûlée” and “cheesecake with mixed berry sauce”, and they were just as delicious. The staff were very nice, and the place has such a positive, welcoming vibe.

Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille is hands down my favorite restaurant in Gainesville, and they made my graduation dinner feel so special. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Our server Ashley was amazing, so attentive, friendly, and truly made the experience even better. The food is always delicious, but my favorites are the crab lobster cakes, the filet with chimichurri sauce, and their cookies (so good!). Also, you have to try their lychee martini, so so so good!! If you’re celebrating something special or just want an incredible meal, definitely come here, you won’t regret it!

This was a hard choice. Everything sounded good. I ended up choosing the macadamia crusted Mahi with grilled asparagus. Absolutely delicious! I had a blackberry puree margarita. That was pretty delicious also, and it went really well with the dinner. My friend ordered the bread pudding for dessert and it was hands down the best bread pudding I have ever had. I'd go back just for the bread pudding. Had a great time and the staff was great too.

Our reservation was on a busy Friday night and they were able to seat us early. The food was delicious, our waitress was great; very friendly and attentive. We loved the lively atmosphere and, being huge fans of Spurrier and the Gators, enjoyed checking out all the memorabilia. If we did r live 500 miles away, we would definitely be regulars! You can bet we’ll be back the next time we’re in town!

This was our second time having a customer appreciation dinner at Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille, and the experience was even better the second time around. Great food, great atmosphere, and an unexpected highlight — getting to meet the legend himself, Steve Spurrier.
Before he left the room, he found out a few of us in the room were DAWG fans. We were surprised again when he had the 1995 game ball brought out from Florida’s 52–17 win over Georgia and the playful jab made the experience even more memorable.
As someone who has helped host many customer events through FAE USA, finding places with great hospitality and personality matters, and Spurrier’s absolutely delivered!
We did make reservations well in advance to use one of the banquet rooms. It is a great environment for any corporate event with big screen for personalizing or doing a short presentation if you need to.

This is a great place to go for excellent modern American food. We sat outside and the atmosphere was really nice. We arrived around 5pm on a weekday. The waitress was very attentive and polite.
The food was very delicious. We had Caesar salad and Eggplant fritters. The salad was great and had just enough dressing with awesome croutons. The fritters had a tasty flavor with the cheese, marinara, and a pesto together.
We also had the Spurrier’s Burger and “Emory & Henry” Seafood Pasta. The burger looked fantastic, though I didn’t try it myself. The seafood pasta was very good with a nice presentation. Overall I had a great experience that makes me want to go again.

Wonderful first time experience as my family and I were passing through. My husband and I ordered the smoke fish dip and an order of crustini with their herb butter to start. Then he ordered the chicken Marsala and I ordered the shrimp scampi pasta. Everything was absolutely delicious. Menu has a really nice variety of options. I might try something different next time, but I really loved my dish (it’s so good!).
Our waitress was so attentive and took good care of us, I wish I would have asked her name! Food service was fast and everything was accurately served. I saw someone else post a picture of their bread pudding so even though I was so full I really wanted to try it. It was exactly what I was hoping it would be and more! That was the only picture I snagged, but it’s so worth ordering even if you take some of it home. I will absolutely come back again when we’re in town! I highly recommend dining here.
